I've never blogged before. I guess it's my turn to start!

Who am I?

I'm originally from Kansas City, KS. I went to public schools until 10th grade, at which time I started attending St. Paul's College High in Concordia, MO I then went to Concordia, Ann Arbor, MI and then to Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO graduating in 1985. In 1998, I earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary
on the North Shore of Boston.

I've served three churches: Concordia Lutheran Church, Rockford, IL; Trinity Lutheran Church, Springfield, MA, and St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Dedham, MA.

In addition to serving as pastor of St. Luke's, I'm also the Secretary of the New England District of the LCMS and I teach in the Mission Training Center of Concordia College, Bronxville, NY. Oh yeah, I'm also the cohost of Crossfeed News!

I've been married since 1982 to Janyce. We have four great kids: Kelly, Josh, Vanessa, and Alfredo.

If your part of the LCMS, you might wonder where I am theologically. I see myself as being in right centerfield of things or, as my senior pastor at my first church used to put it, "liberally conservative, moderately speaking." That allows me to have a wide variety of view points!
