Bad Jesus-Pontius Pilate analogies

For variety of reasons, comparing Palin to Pontius Pilate and Obama to Jesus Christ has not gone over very well in some circles.

Once a Proud Christian

I was once a 'Proud Christian' but now I am having My Personal doubts. Jesus Christ, as a Teacher of the purity of unconditional love, was about the way to recognize, that which Created Us! That was all fine and good, to be enlightened that way. Now the Christian 'right' thinks it is politicaly correct, to apply terms and conditions, to this "Unconditional Love', when all They are doing, is smearing the purity of the garments, that the Creator Must be wearing, as the identity of that unconditional Love! I cannot find Love, in the condemnation of any Soul, let alone granting it to be of the eternal judgments for errant Ones. Where is the redeeming love, When Jesus is seen to be an Avenger and Destroyer, If He should return to Earth as a resurrected being. There is no Purity of unconditional Love, in the Christian Circles I have knowledge of! Let those "Chosen Ones" realize that God loves the 'Whole World' immensely and unconditionally, and there is no terms or conditions that can describe the undescribable, as Unconditional means, nil, non existant, So stop the 'Bull crap' and desist of defining what The Creator thinks of the Human race. We are what We were created to be, put Your trust in that, and allow what the Creator created, to express itself, then express the 'Joy' and happiness that will accompany that! and quit condemning those that do not believe as You, because what You believe, besmirches the garments of 'Unconditional Love'! Politics aside (politics

Politics aside (politics have no place in the church), God loves everyone, absolutely. But there's also such a thing as hell for those who reject His love. It's very sad, but Jesus said He is the only way to the Father. But you're 100% correct that Christians need to live that unconditional love so others may see it. At the same time, don't let the hypocrisy of the sinners who so desperately need God;s forgiveness affect your impression of the One Who forgives our hypocrisy.
