• Britons see religion as a cause of division and tension

An overwhelming majority of the Britons see religion as a cause of division and tension and think it causes more harm than good.

Only 33% of British people describe themselves as having a personal faith, and more than half of those who describe themselves as Christian say they are "not religious."
