California man must pay Alabama religious group $2 million

An Alabama County circuit judge has ordered a millionaire to pay the Alabama-based Caritas religious group two (m) million dollars for violating a confidential April 2005 settlement of an earlier lawsuit.
Phillip Kronzer says his wife left him to join Caritas, which Kronzer claims is a cult. Well, any group that is founded on visions someone had and tells its members to leave their spouses is a cult in my book.
