Christian entertainment enters the mainstream

The theme park — providing a daylong dose of sermons, music and theatrics designed to reinforce evangelical teachings — is one of the most obvious signals that Christian entertainment has entered the mainstream.
Disneyland was based on the Mickey Mouse cartoons. Now, imagine a theme park in Orlando, not far from Disney World, based on the Bible. It's "Holy Land Experience" and has been thriving since it opened in 2001. Think of it as Passion of the Christ Land.
