Student's poem about Jesus causes uproar

When Thames Elementary sixth-grader Andrew White was given a class assignment to write a poem about what Christmas meant to him, he wrote without hesitation: "Christmas is about Jesus' birth."AdvertisementThen, his teacher, Latasha Atkins, asked him to rewrite it - without mentioning Jesus.
