Some churches keep police officers in their prayers. First Baptist Church of Maryville sends them money for Tasers.

Church donates for stun guns for police
"The church says using the volt-dispensing device could be safer for both police and the suspect." This has been my belief. It is much less lethal for the police to be using a Taser Gun than a Hand Gun.
