Jesus’ burial site found - film claims

New film documents discovery of Jerusalem cave containing ten caskets believed to hold remains of Jesus, Mary, Mary Magdalene and others

OK, but there are a few problems here:

  1. That Jesus was crucified is a historical fact. There's no mention of nail marks in the bones.
  2. If His tomb were a knowm location (others buried there later), Christianity would have been debunked before it began.
  3. These were very common names in those days.
  4. Who's Matthew?! He's not listed among Jesus' family anywhere.

So don't get too upset about this one, any more than the James ossuary rocked the world.

It was discovered 10 years ago!

The film is just sensationalizing. Check out more information .

More on Jesus Tomb

Lutheran Church Charities has a response from Dr. Paul Maier on the Jesus Tomb. He's amused.
