Lutherans Urged to Accept Homosexual Ministers

A national assembly of Evangelical Lutherans urged its bishops Saturday to refrain from defrocking gay and lesbian ministers who violate a celibacy rule, but rejected measures that would have permitted ordaining gays churchwide.
My prediction: in 2009 the ELCA will do away with all rules against homosexual clergy.

It's a task force

They set up a task force because they can't make a decision. Didn't they already have a task force on homosexuality? How many do they need? And will the result be as watered-down and useless as the last one? -- Pastor DaleWebmaster, LCMSPastor.com
