Parents want religious exemption for newborn blood tests

To the Spierings, Nebraska's requirement that newborn babies undergo blood screening within 48 hours of birth is an infringement on their religious beliefs and their right to decide what is best for their four children.
They're evangelical Christians who also embrace some Scientology. But when certain tests need to be done right after birth,  where's the line between parental rights and the welfare of the child?
