Pastor Fights for Public Christ Prayer

Hashmeal Turner, pastor, Fredericksburg, VA, was ready to offer his prayer at the city’s council meeting, per Allie Martin of AgapePress. Before the session convened, he was informed not to use the name of "Jesus" in his prayer. Further, no mention of "Jesus" was to made whatsoever throughout his public petition.
If you're going to have a Christian pastor open with prayer, then it's going to be a Christian prayer. If you don't want it Christian, get a Unitarian to do it.
