Romney Speech on Role of Religion in America Concerns AJC
The American Jewish Committee voiced concern about Governor Mitt Romney's comments on the role of religion in the public sphere. "When Gov. Romney stated that 'freedom requires religion...,' he unfortunately was giving voice to a divide along religious lines that has no place in our body politic," said Jeffrey Sinensky, AJC's director of Domestic Policy. "While aiming at bringing greater clarity to the concept of church-state separation, the Governor unfortunately missed the mark."
Is it me, or is the AJC a bit whiny?
