Gene Roberts got a warm welcome as he ran over the border of South Carolina and North Carolina headed into Brunswick County on Sunday. Members of the Patriot Guard, the Christian Motocyclists Association group called The Knights of the Light and N.C. and S.C. state troopers led the way as he ran, nearing his goal of Running Across America for Jesus and eventually reaching Maryland.
