Uganda: Police Raid Balokole Church in Gulu

THE Police last week raided a born again church in Bungatira Parish in Gulu Municipality for allegedly keeping and starving over 200 children for more than one week.The Community Liaison Officer at Gulu Police Station, Mr John Kilama, told the Daily Monitor over the weekend that the born again (Balokole) church's leaders kept the children with the intention of getting money from sponsors.
When God said to care for the orphans and widows, I don't think he had hostage-taking in mind.
